This person will be based out of Denver, CO and will be the division engineering leader with 7 direct reports and responsibility over 15 manufacturing facilities around the U.S. The main thrust of this role is interfacing with plant leadership personnel at each of those manufacturing facilities and helping to set and organize engineering strategy and best-practices related to maintenance/reliability, process, process control/automation, EHS and continuous improvement. This person will also have direct oversight of some of the capital projects that are executed at these facilities – helping to drive projects to ensure that they are completed on-time and accurate to scope. This position will involve significant travel, averaging around 50%. The role reports to the NA Director of Operations and also to the VP of Capital & Engineering. This division of the company is one of their largest and most profitable – this person will certainly have a seat at the planning and strategy table, helping to develop multi-year asset planning as well as annual operations planning. The role is open due to the retirement of the incumbent, who has been with the company for 30 years.
Minimum Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) required, advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of post-college, manufacturing industry experience
  • Must have experience in all facets of day-to-day plant operations (finance, maintenance, EHS, etc.)
  • Must have prior management experience over engineering personnel and MUST have oversee multi-site engineering departments in the past
  • Previous experience as a plant or operations manager would be a HUGE plus
  • Plus for PE Certification and/or PMP Certification
  • Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time
