B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering; 1+ years of post-college, industry experience, out of a manufacturing environment, ideally polymer processing. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC equipment (milling, lamination, etc) and also have experience with CNC recipes (G-Code / M-Code), those these are not strict requirements. Other pluses would be: experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), a working knowledge of PLC (programmable logic controllers) and experience with Six Sigma, SPC and/or Lean Manufacturing principles. Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
Job Description:
This person will be based at a state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facility that is located in the Western suburbs of Chicago. They produce materials and products that are used by the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This person will be doing day-to-day production support and optimization of plant equipment and processes which includes milling, wet/sheet lamination, machining equipment, plastics welding, and surfacing equipment. This company is an International company with manufacturing facilities located here in the U.S. as well as in East Asia (China, Korea, Japan). Minimal travel associated with this role (<10%).

Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000/yr. base salary
