Job Description:
This person will be based near a city in Northern, FL and will support two facilities – the main focus of the role is on this facility with only some responsibilities related to a nearby sister facility. This facility produces high-purity specialty chemicals using batch and continuous reaction and distillation. This person will not be doing the nitty-gritty calculations on HAZOP reviews and PHAs, but will rather oversee the meetings, collect data from the process engineers and have a high-degree of autonomy with regard to ensuring that the plant complies with all of the PSM regulation and reporting. This person will also oversee the work of process engineers during expansions, retrofits, and other process changes. That means approving changes to standard operating procedures (SOPs), etc. Travel will be minimal for this role, mostly to the other sister facility by car. This position is bonus-eligible and relocation assistance is available. The parent company is multi-billion company that employs nearly 10,000 people Worldwide.
