Salary Range: $90,000 to $115,000/yr. base salary (variable bonus is up to 15% and the company also offers profit sharing so total bonus potential is in the 20-30% range)
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, either in the state of Missouri, or transferable to Missouri
  • 7+ years of post-college, industry experience, ideally in mining, but they will also consider people out of heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial backgrounds (steel, chemicals, etc)
  • Must have demonstrated project management experience, managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously
  • Must have some mechanical design experience as well, with a demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD or something similar
Job Description:
This person will work out of a 50-person administrative and engineering office located about an hour from Rolla, MO. This person will support 5 mining operations within ½-hours’ drive of this office facility. The main thrust of this person’s workload will be project management (60%) and this person will be responsible for a portfolio of projects at any given time which will include infrastructure projects as well as equipment projects. In addition to project management, this person will also be doing some mechanical design work and will interface with outside vendors for equipment and contractor needs. This person will have an analyst that will report to them and there is built-in advancement opportunity into Sr. Project Management and an increasing number of direct reports.
