Job Description:
Our client is a well-established specialty chemical producer and a leading expert in the lube oil additives industry. The headquarters, where this person will be based, includes a production and lab facilities, as well as the technical services and sales division. This is a newly created position and the sales team of 3 reps will work in the support of the lube oil additives. This person will primarily manage sales for the Midwest and Gulf Coast market. In order for this person to succeed in this position, they must have a thorough technical knowledge of the lube oil products. In this role, this person will also be a part of the development of new products, will work closely with chemists and will serve as a technical service rep when a client’s needs arise. Ideally, the company expects this person to growth this division by $2mm to $3mm in sales within the next 3 to 5 years. Domestic travel up to 40% is expected. Relocation assistance is available.
