B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering required, with 5+ years’ experience out of chemicals, utilities, power generation, or a wastewater treatment. Must have experience with the following: Boilers, bio-wastewater treatment processing, electrical power exposure, design through installation of projects that includes project management, vendor/contractor management and installation of large-scale equipment.
Job Description:
Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with plants in the U.S. and overseas. This site in Jacksonville is a 150-person plant that is PSM & GMP regulated. This person will have multiple areas of responsibility. The primary area of responsibility will be related to utilities projects – within the next two years, they will be replacing their primary boiler (150,000+ pounds) and the replacement project will involve several of the other utilities (HVAC, Steam, etc) as well as associated process equipment and piping. This project is expected to be completed by 2020. This person will also be responsible for maintaining the existing utilities that includes boilers, wastewater treatment units, HVAC, refrigeration, soft water, power distribution, and air supply. This person will perform design through installation of projects including expansions to retrofits on other plant processes as well. This site uses distillation and reaction to process chemicals. Relocation is offered, as well as a full benefits package.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000/yr. base salary
